The workers RIGHTS of then and now; workers strikes for instance

i am asking from the whole country, can you remember how the previous governments treated the workers who went on strikes demanding their RIGHTS? 

MOST THE STRIKES WERE LEAD DUE TO DISSATISFACTION OF WORKERS ,with regard to their SALARY INCREMENTS, WORKMAN COMPENSATIONS, ill treating the workers, favoritism, lost of liberty of workers for instance manipulations, the procedures followed with regard to issuing loans for government workers for instance dis-satisfactory service rendered when the loan schemes were handled prior to issue loans.    

   

Can you remember what percentage (%) of workers who lost their jobs permanently, and were sent home without even paying any demanding amount before sacked them,  due to their involvements in such strong strike activities? were hired new workers instead of the workers who used their right to strike, right? 

And can you, the whole country remember, i am asking, name the name of the then government?

And in which year this specific incident happened?  You might say you cannot just mention a single incident specifically because there was a series of strikes, that the workers constantly chosen to practice to win their rights through the Unions  

Where did it start ( a Mill or at a factory?) 

i agree that some of the health workers had to go on strike due to various reasons, can you remember but YOU WERE GIVEN ALTERNATIVES OR SOLUTIONS and you were not sent home by the government of UPFA can you name a single worker sent home without pay for striking claiming the number of hours lost due to strikes

And according to his explanation what ever amount they taken as loans by this government from international banks were transferred to countries banks I am glad that he said so because what some enjoyed doing is totally different huge sound applause for the UPFA for not sending the money taken to their personal bank accounts. If there is no development plans, schedules, road constructions were needed there was no reason for this government to take loans specially when the government had to spent a lot of money on REESTABLISHING , RECONSTRUCTING THE LOST PROPERTIES DUE TO  TERROR ATTACKS

now no one is  TALKING ABOUT THE MONEY ALLOCATED FOR REHABILITATION PROGRAMMES AS SOMETHING VERY ESSENTIAL AS A COUNTRY THAT MOST THE PUBLIC PEOPLE’S PROPERTIES INCLUDING ROAD RECONSTRUCTING (A 9 FOR ISNATNCE, RAIL WAY IF YOU NEED ANY OTHER EXAMPLES) IF ANYBODY SAYING THAT THERE WERE NO NEED FOR OTHER GOVERNMENTS TO TAKE LOANS THAT WAS CLEAR BECAUSE THEY HAD NO SUCH PLANS TO IMPROVE INFRA STRUCTURE OF THIS COUNTRY MAINLY INCLUDING , THE ROAD STRUCTURES

EVEN IF THEERE IS NO WAR THESE DAYS no government can allocate tiny amount of money for the security of the country. Though now there is no war the youngsters who joined the armed forces in order to protect the country cannot be sent home converting them in to un employing categories, in to no users to pay salaries and for other things the government still have to allocate same amount of money and specifically their higher education is still valid and important that is why it is essential to allocate sufficient amount of money to maintain some universities such as Kotalawala Defence Academy

And if you at least have a slight knowledge on the socio economic cultural or political situation of the countries of the region (South Asia for instance), you cannot compare the situations idiotically

I am happy that what so ever amount taken as loans from international banks, by the UPFA government was not sent to any Personal Bank accounts

Things are different today though you have forgotten them everything so idiotically compared to the eras of then governments. What can you remember of the economic strategies practiced by then governments ? very including the government that the  way that then President Mrs. Chandrika Bandaranayake Kumaranthunge explained to people of this country, in her election, presidential campaigns,about the Era of UNP government of the period of UNP government how did she explained things of then UNP government what words she used? Can you remember ?
