Dear English' Government,

On behalf of my country people, and people who respect world cricket, I would like to know whether the LTTE is a banned group in United Kingdom or not, could you please answer?

Dear English' Government thank you for sponsoring world Cricket/ Cup. 

I believe that it is your duty to protect Psycho social Spirit of every cricket team who have come to your kingdom seeking your friendship respecting your sponsorship.  

Now today, the LTTE team members, showcasing their flags so freely and fearlessly, held a protest near the OVAL ground, very intentionally to attack Sri Lankan Team' s mental spirit during the cricket match between Australia and Sri Lanka. 

And they have not allowed one of our Media Teams who have visited your country to report cricket fans of the country. i believe as a media representative they have soul right to report to their country people if there is something happening in or around to tarnish our reputation or to murder our cricket spirit. 

i also believe that if any organization is organizing any protest in any of the cities, the organizers should get permission to held such a protest near any entity or any place etc. so i believe that they have followed the same procedural that is to get your governor's permission for instance before  they have organizing the protest near the ground. so we feel sad that you didn't take any action to stop the protest and officially supporting them. Even if there is no such law in the kingdom, i think you should have done something to stop the protest thinking of the 'ethics attached to such sponsorship.   

As you all very well know, we have just recovered from a big attack. So please do not beat us so harshly letting such teams to attack the spirit of our team members during any match.

CHINIZATION OF LOCAL ECONOMY

Economically speaking since about decade or so, China slowly and gradually dominated almost every side of our economy. I do not hesitate to admit that they have enlarged their economic dominance beyond Beijing and Shanghai by now. Their trade strategies and trade routes and places have changed over years. Compared with the first few years or chapters of industrialization, today, the dealings between the world trader and customer too had changed or it is changing day by day. Now from China we get more than silk and ceramic compared with the past. The secrets and traditions attached to Fengshui  is extremely well known amongst local families compared to other traditions and values attached with ‘home and interior customs.

They have started funding our development projects and at the same time they take the responsibility of building the projects they financially supporting.

Recently, I went to the nearest semi-urban trade junction to purchase a dy, to cover my grey  hair. The shop owner offered me a Chinese product approved by the health ministry. Does that mean they have captuered head to toe of our economy?

Jackie and Jet, kungfu king  who died a few decades ago, are the only artists we knew. Now the story had changed. We watch many stories they have written and acted. There are very many names that were newly entered and youngsters have started muttering. And we cannot forget their radio. I do not know the number of locals learning Mandarin but I can sense that they have started learning Sinhalese language faster than others.

Now this morning I overheard what the minister of finance stated in response to, if I remember well, a question raised by a media personal that the Chinese who live in the country do not like to smoke local or other cigarettes produced by others. I guess the reason of stating so has something to do with that the authorities finding bulk of cigarettes made in china that were not imported legally by any of the local traders existing in the country. Am I accurate? So as a solution what the minster believes is to allow import Chinese cigarettes and earn a profit from the importers via tax. I am not going to justify his decision. My fear is that if Chinese cigarettes costs less compared with the other cigarettes in the market whether our idiots start smoke cigarettes more than today or in the past.

Smoking is not illegal in this country or in China or in America. It is not something legally banned and as a result of that the government earn a good amount of income thank you to smokers. I do not know whether they direct what they earn from selling cigar for the sake of good health of our citizens, the account of the ministry of health for instance to import cancer curing drugs from China or from the country that produce Marlboro etc.. And there is no second word that government spend a lot of money to create awareness posters on ‘health risks of smoking and alcoholism’. Smoking I believe kills ones fertility abilities as well. I do not know how supportive smoking cigarettes to protect a nation or a race or existence or survival of a race or a nation.

It is something that we should discuss separately or isolately to learn the economic direct affects and side effects and health direct and side effects of importing cigarettes.

In the local pharmacies you find almost every pharmaceutical product made in China. Right?

Now most the electrical appliances and computer appliances that we use were either made in China or assembled in China.

The open economy system was introduced in 1977. Remember? There is no need for the Local customer to go shopping in foreign countries anymore. Almost everything available in this island now. Including cocaine and heroin etc. But no government had given permission to import such dangerous drugs but we read and listen every government is trying their level best to stop those coming into this island we live.

We are a country that not only grow cinnamon but also export cinnamon. Cassia is one of the trade competitors we have because of the price offered though Ceylon cinnamon and cassia differ from each other though both looks alike.

I do not know whether what I read has any political weight. Still I couldn’t ignore thinking about the news. During one of our honorable president’s visits to China he had agreed to welcome Chinese Army into this country I read yesterday. One of the local newspapers published the news as their front page news.  To learn more of the reasons I will have to read the inner pages.

I have read what experts of both local and international said about indo-Lanka accord. The news title reminded me of the agreement and signed parties. The advantages and disadvantages of such agreements, no local or international can easily ignore. According to their and our local political analysts, experts, if it was a failed agreement there are plenty of things that we all can learn from such decisions.

‘World trade mechanisms’; this any local community need to very carefully analyze and then apply. Because Economic independence of any local community is vital and important. Therefore we need to think and view not near but far, removing the trade wrapping and every ribbon with conscious eyes, no matter even if we purchase something from whatever trade continent or geographic segment.

If we socially and culturally analyze the relationship between china and Sri Lanka, and the ancient experiences, china is not a tyrant.

Yet, they have started invading local economies and no one will oppose to my opinion I guess. That is not their fault but is a skill, if you economically speaking.

 who had Vegeable Chopseu , devilled chicken with fride rice  for previos supper or for this lunch? 

Remember we too have a segment, entrepreneurs that manufacture what we want locally. Taking care of them is a duty and a responsibility of any government elected by local citizens. Let us balance all these economically.

Dear All,  we know that we cannot  bring back the lives of very dear and near members who departed our lives. And i know that it will not be easy for all of us, entire world to forget what happened yesterday in Sri Lanka.   Even though this was something very unexpected, hereafter what we should do is to pay our, civilians' attention to our personal and country's security more than yesterdays, and years, decades gone by and try and support the security authorities to maintain peace and harmony in every way. 

footpath wish to thank every International community who stayed with us in these sorrowful moments since the moment we faced the issue. And for sending us your sympathies condolences and show your respect to our people in a very warmth and heartiest ways.  

footpath wishes every family who lost their dear and dear ones quick recovery. i pray and i hope soon, the wounds of the wounded be healed  and  fill their inner hearts and inner minds with peace and harmony!

Also the footpath wish to thank every individual who stayed calm yet supported from the bottom of their hearts and minds, the people affected by the incident and take every possible action to send them to the hospitals and for saving the lives of the wounded every possible way and every person who donated blood and staying with the members of the families hurt. 

The hon. priests, fathers, brothers and sisters who tried to calm people even though  the incident happened on the holy day hurt them a lot. Also the media who were not only reporting the incidents clearly and accurately but also took careful action to calm people at the very same time.

Rehabilitation programmes and post-rehabilitation mechanisms

Every country has certain mechanisms established to deal with social or otherwise issues, persons affected from social etc. issues, enhance or improve moral values etc. 

Imprisoning is one of the ways that the law and order of a society punishes wrong doers. Rehabilitation programms are one of the ways to re-correct people or persons or groups mislead by a group or a person etc or persons involved in any types of offenses described by the law.

My argument is that though there are plenty of punishments described and established to punish persons, individuals to readjust or re correct persons involved in any activity to break the peace and harmony of the society, there are not sufficient mechanisms established to cater the needs of the success of pro-rehabilitation mechanisms. 

For instance if imprisoning is a punishment what would happen to the person after completing the period of imprisonment. He or she comes back to the same society that she or he was living before. If the society that they were living earlier hasn't change, he or she will not change or it is not easy for them to change or follow what they were taught or advised in the prisons. 

Therefore no authority can expect 'total rehabilitation or fully rehabilitate a child, teen or young or an adult corrupted or spoiled by the society. 

we need to have a better, efficient and effective pro-rehabilitation programme/s to establish peace and harmony socially, economically or politically or culturally. 

I do not think that the persons imprisoned earns enough money making or sewing shirts or pants etc. they should be given some financial support to start a business or cultivation or a job to live a peaceful life in pro-imprisonment period.  

Other than the authorities's methods follow to monitor some after releasing them for very specific reasons they follow no such methods to monitor released persons until at least certain period of time.

Depending on the effectiveness of the program designed to address the need; 'rehabilitation' or the content of the rehabilitation program, the society will be able to pluck the fruits and objectives of the rehabilitation programs. if the programs are or were not effectively designed, the society will not be able to achieve what they expect from such programs.

a better method to change the negative perceptions established in the minds of the groups chosen to rehabilitate is required and important. 

i.e. providing psycho-social support is important in a more practical and efficient way. 

within almost of every person imprisoned there are negative thoughts cultivated by both self and by the others of the society or sometimes by the prions officials, when handling or dealing with them. some often treat them not as humans but as hogs or as pigs, i have read. Those negative thoughts should be erased during the rehabilitation period. in order to implement a better efficient programs both not only prisoners or persons but also the officials should be addressed effectively.

Acquiring pro-livelihood plans during or at the latter stage of the rehabilitation programs, from the persons using the facility is important i believe. The authorized team must ask the abilities and capacities and capabilities they have to reach their target, social or economical or even political, cultural, before they leaving the centre . then the authorities can develop a better mechanism to fully rehabilitate any person who follows the rehabilitation programs implemented to address the needs of the society, west or east.

If you have not created and invented and implemented this, the blogging culture, i won't be able travel across continents through my imaginations and to share my ideas with the world community.
