FOR
Walt Disney became
a friend of me and my brothers, sisters and neighbours since a television came to our house.
We all fallen in love with the drawings, the stories, the characters
They are so
dynamically
They are so
genuinely created and they are so fairy
That is what I
feel now more than those days than my schooling days. Those days, during our schools
days we just watched them with wide open eyes.
Back then we never try to analyze them, the drawings and the art of
saying stories because we were kids and due to lack of understanding on such creations or art work. And I did not understand this much of
words then. We just read the drawings and listened to their beautiful voices,
the dubbing artists’. but the ones dubbed in Sinhala were so close to our hearts even back then.
The art behind
such creations are truly incredible to me,
i understand it now more than then.
The good ones, the
bad ones, happy endings, we just watched them. The witches, the mysterious castles,
the witched birds
They too are
amazingly created.
In those fairy
tales, there is no place for witches, for bad ones it is always the good ones become
the winners.
The good ones
always have the strength to win over the bad ones.
The Philosophy,
the teachings of Buddhism comes in to my mind at this moment, though in most
the stories, tales the Christianity is described.
There is no big
difference in each and every good teachings of this world. I like to believe.
There is no place
for BAD, that is the truth in every good teaching. I suffer because of the BAD Karma entangled
in my life, the things that I may have done in my previous souls, the insults,
the stones are the results of such bad actions of my previous lives PLUS I may
have done good deeds in deed as well to get the love and affection of the
world, to gain good wishes of you all, the encouragements. I think that no one
can change ones destiny, fate the Karma.
The fairy tales
too teach all that it is never easy to fight against the bad. The term bad is always comparative here, lets
not forget that but I relate my thoughts, today, the fairy tales I have heard, read and watched
very including THE WALT DISNEY'S amazing creations.
In some of the
creations, frogs, maids become heroines but they definitely have to show the
good side of them otherwise they can’t become the winners. The Cinderella had to always be honest, no
jealousy girl, had to learn all cleansing techniques, patience, her no
temptation attitudes over silks and cottons, comfy shoes but Walt Disney gave
her all within a couple of hours time.
It is now we
understand the lessons hidden behind the fairy tales we watch. I used to think
that was little earlier than this ‘why people trying to hide the realities
wearing the cloths of fairies, angles I
guess we human creatures always expect, like to view , like to read heart
soothing things not the things that gives aches and pains in to our lives. That
is why we hate the ones that says or does things to hurt or try to play with
our feelings.
All kings and
Queens must protect their kingdoms, kings are belongs to their queens. The queens who carried the burdens of life
throughout their lives, all beloved queens must get the required respect and
love and that should not go to anyone else, not even for a minute.
That is what Walt
Disney teaches us.
Ones Family
automatically becomes the kingdom of their lives. All other kingdoms are second
to the ‘family kingdom’
In this very
complex world we live it is no easy to follow some of the ethics and rules of
ones life, yet it is always possible to ‘wise’
Let me walk a bit
away from the fairy tales and talk of the ‘now – princesses and prince’s, boys
and girls, ladies and gentlemen’
A Princess from Bangladesh |
The reality is
that you never can sleep the whole, half or quarter of your years of living, without
working hard. It is the workers - honest
who will win not the lazy ones. The
abilities of like incredible Walt Disney, the
winners of the world are , were hard workers not the ones who think ‘can earn
without work’ , can win stealing, can win only when others work we don’t that are not true. You have won your carrier goals because you
are not lazy
If you need to
become true princesses, a prince, a winner you definitely have to sweat and
respect your sweats and others too.
The princesses of sweat and respect |
All the princesses,
the prince’ have to work other than thinking of depending on the taxes of the
civilians, citizens, the wealth of the Nations,
must work hard must understand the salty taste of tears and sweats of
all groups of human. They truly are the princesses and prince
There are plenty
of peasant girls and boys who have won the world with their strengths and hard
work.
Art, The Walt Disney characters and all other incredible art works are not
just creations they goes from kid to kid, an adult to adult, from place to
place, from peasant to peasant, from city to city then the whole world become
one.
I personally
believe that once the creation is done it is no longer belong to the creator it
is for the world, the owners will be the world, the kids the whole
universe. An artist never can say ‘this
is mine, that is mine’ though we definitely have to respect the creation and to
the creator and allow for her/him to hold the ‘property of them’ giving them
heartful of good wishes, there ethics relate to every profession and give them
the right of the creation.
I don’t know
whether the ‘dubbing artists’ gets enough of recognition from now
authorities of all layers. I believe
that they are to be protected and respected to the maximum length.
Rathnawali Kekunawela, Chithra Wakista, Pran Wakista,
Ms Daya Tennakoon, Sandya Rambukkanage , Geetha Kanthi Jayakodi, Rathna
lalani Jayakodi
A different
parampara to the list I mention while ago,
Indrajith Liyanage the owner of ‘Katahanda’ – institution, Rashee Paba, Himali Sayurangi, there is a
huge list, but unfortunately the names
of all don’t come in to my memory at this moment. I guess
And to respect and
tell frankly the ‘dubbed versions of some of the creations gave some of our
artists a good place, The sirasa TV produced such television series like
‘Tulsi’s story, Praveena , Damini, I guess they paid them good money if I am
not incorrect and am not going to talk of the effects of reproducing someone
else’s creations yet there are good things too that we can talk of.
Few new good
artists were introduced via such productions
Going back to some
of the creations earlier to all these, ‘dubbing artists helped us to embrace
some of the never forgetting creations of ‘ TITUS THOTAWATE’ – the giant of all
comes in to my mind. Athula Ransili Lal
has taken over the duty of Mr Thotawatte I guess , no doubt.
They took us to a
different world via their creations.
‘Ha ha hari
haawa’,
Behai Kiyala behai
kiyala beha’ , those rupavahini corporation productions, and there are other good
creations that I enjoyed of all the TV channels.
I think ‘the world
should give them a more recognition’
We only see the
beautiful drawings, enchanting voices but we never get to see their faces,
features, SAD
I know no dubbing artists of the west or east of all except ones of our country. What we do is enjoying their creations. May be ‘our papers -the papers of the world’
carry articles of them may be I miss them because I take intervals from reading
these days.
Is there a world
foundation or so to shake hand them for their good work? ‘ International
dubbing artists association’ ?
How many
documentaries have you produced to encourage them, your own supporters,
friends, dear channels, other than paying them for their tasks?
Amazingness is
that most the creations have dubbed in to many languages I suppose we too
should take such a step to reach the world audience through our own creations
There are multi
talented ‘Walt Disney s here, in my country, in Asia, in Africa hurry up find
them introduce all of them at a round table.
Life is not always
get the looks of ‘fairy tales ‘ there are other realities in life, Ding Yu’s
INTERVIEWS BEFORE THE EXECUTIONS reminded me.
Dear Ding Yu, I Wish you a safe and a healthy life!
And for all a
faireal life !
Take Care Princesses - all around globe
