DEALING WITH ENEMIES

I do not think that dealing with enemies differ from sleeping with enemies. Have you slept with an enemy? Then you might know the difference. Perhaps Sleeping with enemies can be considered as a method to deal with enemies.

How do you really learn to deal with enemies?

How do you identify enemies?

What facets and in what forms they appear in this world we live?

How one can easily take note of the enemies within enemies or enemies outside to known enemies, enemies known as peace brokers?

They may appear in any of the popular forms or in a form you can’t even imagine, right?

Sometimes you face sudden attacks of new enemies, not identified earlier by any of the formal or lawful units.

One of the vessels (apparently not empty but filled with oil) with about eight Sri Lankans (according to print media) was high jacked about couple of days ago. Who were these hijackers? What category they belong to; Enemies of development of local or global economy, Victims of world poverty or result of wonder of development of world economy?  Result of judicially or fairlydivisioned resourcesof world?

Was there no internal security alert system within the border, that the vessel was hijacked?

No coastal security system implemented?

What was the reason that the chiefs of the vessel couldn’t turn it back to another destination when the threat was first felt? No such mechanism in the system of naval trading?

Any how, can the relevant authority provide us reasons as to why they were not aware of such threats within their border of control? Was it the first time you heard about such a group?

How did the group receive information about the vessel leading towards their route?

What strategies required to prevent such situations in the future?
According to today’s news papers, firing / attacking the vessel was stopped due to the intervention of the president of our country.

Is there no international organization to take immediate action against the group or to stop that and help them to escape from the place for their survival? According to what i felt, they are well equipped/armed, right? Yes, it is true that is something that the two of the affected parties must solve independently. So, is it a matter between Somalia and Sri Lanka, nothing to do with international community?

Are the prices of oil raised by the OPECor planning to raise the prices? One of the reasons to hijack the vessel full of oil (?), keep more stock? Is the group a normal group consists of thieves or any clue of terrorists?

Alright then, the directly affected group (members of the vessel) the two countries have no choice other than trying to deal with this situation independently. in a way it is so good you know , you learn to handle things independently without getting it spoiled unnecessarily.

Perhaps, later on, when the ship and the members are rescued without or with little or big damages they may appear in the seen. That is how the things happened in the past. When the relevant organizations setup to address what ever issue existing fails or not affective they appear later to punish the problem solvers. The international organization, relevant may appear lending their hand take actions to implement a system, international courts , judiciary system perhaps to punish not the hijackers but the groups who rescued the vessel, within Somalia or in Sri Lanka, in addition to the courts system to be forcefully (our admin doesn’t want such a system within the country) implemented within the geographical limit of Sri Lanka.

Even though you have a better internal mechanism to establish law and order, peace and harmony within ‘a country’ or within self’,dealing with enemies is absolutely difficult especially when you find the mechanisms of your enemies are stronger or effective than your mechanisms.

According to what i read recently and understood (interview with DiyuGunasekara, aththa, 05/03/2017) New Chief Minister (after Jaya Lalitha) of (South) India wants our Tamil People to separate from mass community, from the majority, live in a separate geographical area as a minority.  And same is a expectation of Tamil diaspora and of RLTT (12, 000 - rehabilitated former LTTE carders) and i see there are groups to continue the original expectations and objectives of the terror group the LTTE though you find the group is systematically eliminated using a mechanism match to the nature of the issue also considering the geographical unifications, threat levels of the situation / issue but it was not a mechanism totally different to the mechanisms so far used around the world now and then.

World is aware that the long suffered issue is physically over within the geographical limitations of the country. Perhaps one can argue that the shadows of the issue still exist not only around globe but also within the country considering how the current government and some react to the suggestions of UNCHR. I see some logic in such arguments. Why? the traumas , fears of the issue cannot be forgotten totally because some of the organizations as mentioned above, and mindsets of some local and international communities, constantly spreading massages, reminders across globe and to the local and international Tamil community; the armies, security forces of Sri Lanka are the enemies of the Local Tamil People and it was not the LTTE who took every action to not to safe guard them but to use their own people not only as human shields but also as carders to achieve their objectives, tying a suicide pill around their necks forcefully. Were they given a choice to stay with their parents, families without joining the LTTE orbecoming a member of the LTTE?

Were the parents given a choice to keep their young children without sending them to become soldiers of the group?

Have you forgotten the Ladies who joined the group, were they not taken forcefully to join the group?

Now there is no such fear in this country.  According to some ending such an issue is a crime.

The members of RLTT say that they want to join the political arena in order to have a better life though the former government was provided them some assistance to ‘earn a living’, financial aid and training. I like to ask them, were you and your families financially looked after by your then leader, Mister Piribaharan?
What if you are still a member of LTTE, can you imagine of the life you will or can possibly spend?  Can you live with no fear of life if you are still a member of LTTE? Remember your leader didn’t want you all to surrender but die as soon as you get caught.
What human right did your leader use, when tying a suicide pill around your neck brothers? The members of LTTE were not given a chance to get marry, have children etc. you were morally killed my friends. Now you have no such issues thanks to the mechanisms used to solve the problem. Why cannot you all look at the issue that way?

Think of the suggestions of Geneva and what other groups trying to convince or take every effort to prove (some how) are they supporting peace and harmony process of the country or disporting, trying to separate or unite each other?
Why repeatedly saying or trying to convince something that is not totally supporting in order to maintain peace and harmony of people (every nation) of the country.

If the UNCHE keep on saying through their reports and suggestions that we must have a international judiciary system , courts system within the country in order to punish our war heroes , what human right they are trying to protect, the rights of terrorism group spoiled the lives of every human being of the country and broke the sole right to live peacefully for more than three decades and of those who still expect survival of such groups, practicing their theories in a different way compared to original ?

If UNCHR and supporting agencies do not let us live peacefully forgetting the wounds of the past situation will remain unchanged.

How many times you spoke to the leaders of the LTTE effectively?

Why didn’t you (UNCHR) think of punishing them for breaking the human rights publicly before the eyes of the world, capturing them when the problem was at its peak? Why you waited until we solve the problem totally with no bad intensions within.

The President of the country has told and promised to his people that he won’t let any international courts system to enter into this country or there won’t be such systems practicing in the country in the future. But according to what i heard, the UNCHR is not aware of such a procedure or of such decisions taken by the president. Am i incorrect?

We are an independent country because the country is not a colony anymore. And there is no LTTE group physically exists in the country (since 2009). And 04th February was declared as Independence Day of the country. (1948 onwards) why cannot we have an independent internal admin system where others do not interfere directly or indirectly?

Why cannot you all live peacefully with peace of mind leaving our people alone and letting them live peacefully? Why you want to line them against a legal forces that brought them peace lawfully not terrorstrategically.

Aha, the groups who are fighting against terror groups do not consider as ‘peace makers’. It is a brilliant way to support human rights. Is the popular human rights organization playing a double game? On one hand they say they represent ‘peace and are against terrorism and protect human rights and on the other hand when a country managed to eliminate terrorism from their country, the organization take every action to punish the parties who sacrificed their lives and time to bring peace into every mind of every citizen of the country.

According to what i feel, dealing with the terror group was not that difficult for the country, for the forces plus the then admin. What is difficult now is to protect our people’s minds from such harmful attacks of the mentioned parties that do not , did not totally aware of the level of the chronic condition we suffered from, or the severeness of the wound, LTTE for decades.

Kindly, let us live peacefully. Do not try inject any poisons into the physiques and minds of our people saying you expect them to punish our heroes who supported and sacrificed their lives and time to maintain global peace not only in the sub continent we belong to or within the South Asian territory.

You know how harmful the group was and what damage they done not only materially but also emotionally.

And Dear Mister Sharma, Peace was the sole POLITICAL SOLUTION that the entire country was seeking for, the people were expecting from local admin system. And we all wanted international communities, global support systems to support us without spoiling our independent agendas.  If you are supporting and expects UNITY within our country, why propose them to live separate administerially and geographically from each other? Why Tamil and other nations cannot live together without thinking of separating from each other geographically or otherwise, supportingthe system already established, implemented or a better system to be implemented, constitutionally for example that affect every single citizen of the country to live with no Hassel, mixed with each other?

By suggesting to establish a separate admin and geographical or to merge Northern and Eastern part of the country, what you are doing is ‘ help achieving the objectives of the LTTE in a different way. The LTTE used strategies that no world was accepted to achieve their main objective; dream of ELAM and to achieve the same objectives, diaspora and other groups, international agencies using the strategies written and explained, described in the books of human rights, international laws. If then governments, Sri Lankans wanted them, the LTTE to have what they expected initially, ELAM (separate land) they would have given it to them without going into any humanitarian wars.

Dear Diaspora, footpath ikes to request you to come and live in the country. And i am sure that we can manage with the facilities we own though you may fear of lossing the luxaries you embrace staying outside to your country.

Wish you all peace of mind.
