Instead of death penalty ................

i refrain from harming and killing any living being 

This stanza is one of the five stanzas known as pansil (five vows' or ways to lead a good life) that every Buddhist is expected to protect and the Buddhists say these stanzas as a promise when venerating the Lord Buddha and the Buddhists are expected to not to break these laws under what so ever circumstances or situations and these were preached to protect law and order of human communities other than helping them to lead a life that contributes to protect or secure the life after  by refraining from committing any crimes or supporting or encouraging.     

i know and i read how some other countries including the very relevant world organization (UN) responded to the government's decision to establish or continue 'death penalty against drug dealers or importers etc.. 

According to one of the ministers views' because of the drug dealers 'appeals' it is difficult to hang  the drug dealers or persons dealing with drugs at what so ever levels. 

if so, what is the solution the law can think of?

stop giving any chances to appeal. what you need to do then is adjust laws accordingly. 

Is death penalty the only solution we have to fully combat or minimize  or control the issue? why cannot we implement or establish another stronger system to either to stop things coming into the country or individuals trying to sell drugs; heroine, cocaine, ganja etc. within the country? 

i once visited a community urban for a particular reason and i myself noticed and heard how some  trying to sell heroine for example in public. i observed an individual trying to sell heroine asking 'need heroine'? 

what are the ways the, middle sellers get drugs? the person who sells is not the whale of the industry. unless you capture the big dealers, it is never possible to stop the issue and the other thing it is not possible for any country to combat the issue fully or totally unless the other countries try implement mechanisms to capture or those who manufacture such harmful drugs. as the world very well know that ours is not a country that manufacture such harmful drugs and the world very well know via what countries the rest of the world get such things. to solve the issue from its root that is the only solution other countries think of to solve the issue. 

the world need more attention and similar mechanisms used to defeat terrorism. 

what are the target groups of these groups? the communities with problems or face financial issues and other issues such as shelter, unemployment , trauma etc. 

groups dealing with illegal or harmful drugs has increased locally since the free economy system is introduced. Free economy is not a bad economic suggestion yet there are many other disadvantages to be seen due to misusements of its 'freedom' and such create many other social, financial and health issues in the country. i.e. increase or nourish levels of poverty. 

what are the current issue with regard to solving drug related matters effectively?  especially when we have organizations, units established attached to various department such as Police, customs, health to deal with the issue locally.

If you hear or find out mobile phones and accessorizes selling units in prisons , what more talks we require to weigh strongness of inner systems, judicial ? at least it is ear soothing to know that you somehow got to know the issue. 

whether it is women on top of the lists of offenders to be punished or hanged or not, as country where the majority are Buddhists and the Buddhism is respect and believed, we cannot disrespect its teaching governmentally or adminsterially or constitutionally or publicly or prvately

If the government decide to hire a person for the job i would say that the government is encouraging a person to commit sin or engage in Bad Karma, constitutionally or professionally or what so ever way. 

It is very true that every living being has a right to live  peacefully and harmoniously and when it is disturbed the law should protect it but the law can definitely find another solution to cater the issue other than trying to establish death penalty. 

Illegal or dangerous, harmful drugs creates disharmony in a society. Therefore it is government's duty to find a solution a better, effective, long lasting, sustainable solution to defeat the issue. 

Foot path acknowledge the effort taken by the government. footpath expects and wishes the government to find and establish another more human mechanism to punish the buggers in-order  to stop the issue permanently.

government representatives and their statements in public

After a long time, i thought of writing something with regard to the statement made by Ministress Vijayakala Maheshwaran at a public gathering in Jaffna. 

whether she or any other person represent government or opposition, our country, releases any statement that nourishes terrorism or say something aiming at establishing a terrorist regime is wrong and unpardonable.

 i cannot say that it is her or anyone else's speak to right. 

According to her she has given her reasons, justifications as to why she was forced to say such a saying or why she was releasing such a statement. 

according to her she was compelled to release such an statement  due to the issues with regard to 'women and abuse' in the Northern part of the island.

I like to say that if it is the issue and if you say that you were unable to solve such issues in any part of the country through a democratic procedure establishing and such can be solved only by  establishing terrorism in the country it is a very weak, un-agreeable,un-healthy  way of trying to solve such issues.  

Yes, we cannot forget the facts and reasons as to what happened to Vidya. but madame they were lawfully convicted and punished. 

Dear minister, it is very good if you think many times very before releasing your personal views and what you believe personally or what ever things comes to your mind at any level of stresses, status of mind  because you are not a ordinary civilian but a person representing a particular party and mainly a member of parliament hosting a chief post in one of the very important ministries of the government/country. 

The danger is if you say something specifically and carefully choosing the words to justify your thinking it is an issue and such may leading the country towards another direction that others never expect to experience again for any reason. 

Also your role as a female MP and as a citizen of the country and as a responsibility bearer,  as a chief of a particular ministry (women and children) your representation in the political segment is important and significant. Therefore, we hope that you would use the chance given to represent you and to prove who you are, not only to your people but also for the entire citizens of the country , intelligently but not foolishly or cunningly while trying to remove terrorism if any existing or supporting to abolish terrorism from the island, specifically if you think that some of them are still remaining or existing wishing your support to reestablish or to re-enhance re-promote terrorism in the country. 

If we hear something from you madame, our children and women are under threat of terrorism. the country will have to establish a mechanism to solve 'issues arising due results of terrorism activities i.e. parent-less children, husband-less wives of the families, and against fear in engaging education activities independently or freely, loosing children due to hiring children forcefully as LTTE soldiers    

  

i like to repeatedly mention that if you mentioned or said something like, "my wish or my intention or my hope is to support to establish a LTTE regime in the country", before a public gathering purposely, according to my personal awareness, there is no second word it is wrong. 

above incident is a good experience for every government representative especially because they represent not only entire country but because what they say travel across gglobe. and it affects not only our country but also directly or indirectly for the entire citizens of he world.

i am interested in knowing the views of the international responsible community with regard to her views or her statement unintentionally or intentionally released.
