On students of Science faculty of the Jaffna University TENDERLY .................

Now, what were the reasons for the Students of the faculty of Science of the University of Jaffna to fight with each other? Now there is Peace in that Land of ours. No terror of LTTE. According to my justifications, there are no reasons for them to be frightened. Now why can’t you study peacefully? No LTTE leader will come and drag you asking to join the group. Now what is the issue you have?

If you have any issues you can directly contact the ‘Head of the Faculty and the chief minister you have appointed by voting? Am i right?

You have Mr. Sambandan in the Parliament , talk to him and ask if you have any issues to be solved without trying to break the human rights of a peer, who have faced the same government exam, who are following the same course of study like everyone else in the country. I have a feeling that if you ask Mr. Sambadhan he would not hesitate to donate his salary even for the sake of the people of this country. He is that caring about us.

Without fighting with each other based on what ever reason, you can obviously help the ‘people affected by the Salawa incident. Take your ‘group and lead towards Jaffna. You can‘t wait till the government handling that patiencefully. Haven’t you heard about how some ‘student leaders’ / students councils acted in the past for the sake of the students on behalf of their rights, though you can ignore some of the ways they have acted?

My Congratulations people! You are about to experience the 6% bus fare increasement from 1st August onward. I’d love that rate. Isn’t that something thrilled to hear? I do not know why the Rivira, daily paper has given the news a big space and used big letters, highlighting the news.  Did you ask the minister of Transport affairs, sorry the President before publishing the news?  Is it that big news for the people of the country, for your paper to give it a big place?

Ah! GAS is still in safe hand. But until when we can obtain the GAS for the current rate, till the small election ends?

Finally the Government managed to please the Prince of Human rights by releasing the Master or the former Master of LTTE, George Master. Congratulations for all the masters for their achievement! And for all who took care of the decision and the masters who supported the decision! My question is not that, did papers highlight the incident? Do not know whether the Prince managed to read the news of government releasing the master.

Now let me relate this some of the changes to the current VAT CHATS. According to the authorized there will be no change in VAT in the future. For me, it is a big CHANGE that we have not experienced before, the community of Entrepreneurs have experienced before.  And the other change is this our government gave us the chance to feel the marvel of 8 rupee minimum bus fare for about more than one and a half years, that the previous government was unable to give.

And the other change is the Government is willing to give the chance for the MP’s of the parliament to obtain a five million package of money (Loan) for a twice lesser than the interest rate that the ordinary people are paying for the loans they obtain from any local bank/s. Isn’t that a big change? Now let us try to calculate this. let us assume that unlike the number of secretaries work for ministers increased (i cannot remember the exact number of members in the current parliament, obviously it cannot be a number that existed in the past, because that was one of the things that people (including the present members) highly criticized as a fault of then government) the total number in the parliament is 225.And out of them 50 are getting or applying for this gifted chance. How much money the banks will have to release for them? The banks will have to provide 25000 million rupees in total as loans.(50 members x 5 million each) How much money / profit, the banks will have to loose, annually or monthly, and until the members paying back the loan?

And according to my awareness 50, 000 rupees isn’t enough for the People affected by the Salawa incident to re build their houses. I assume that they would be getting more in the future up to 500 000/= at least? If that is not the plan, the Government can easily give them the chance to obtain a loan from a local bank for no interest rate?  And that can be added to the category of ‘welfare development’.

what else the present welfare government has or is giving for the MP’s as benefits, encouraging charges; Free or no interest entity permits / license for them to run a business, and luxury car permits, why do the, members who are so eager to serve the people of this country needs such benefits that the people of this country are not getting and paying, bearing all burdens paying high taxes?

Mr. Prime Minister, it is so heart soothing to hear that you went to Singapore ad visited an Institute and signed an agreement to support or to nourish the enterprise sector of the country. And what advice you expect from them, sir? What if they suggest you must give them VAT sahanaya first to encourage the business sector people. And Low interest rate loans for the people who dreaming of starting an enterprise and at least for about first five years a low tax rate or releasing them from tax aches and pains, especially for the fresh beginners. What if they suggest in order to popularize the business sector and to earn some demand first stop turn over rates by releasing some tax pains from them, and to stable the country’s business sector what if they suggest you to stop people closing their businesses and start growing pine apple or apple in their gardens or perhaps ‘pol’ (coconut) instead. Would you agree? and what if they ask you first check ‘how some of the earlier earned a good profit organizations now give their share holders a poor dividends because of some people stopped coming to buy  goods from them because the company’s have increased the prices of the daily needs to cover their TAX charges?

What if they suggest you sir, first check how many people have bought a car or a three wheeler since you have raced the ‘tax’? And how the Car Business Operating people survive in their sector of business? Indra how much did you sell last month? Gimsara, thamanna, sun city, how much did you sell this season? Royal Car, how much did you sell after government increasing the tax rates? What if the Institute in Singapore asks you to first do a little survey to get a picture of what requirements or needs is lack or barring their enhancements?and what if they ask you to check with dear Finance companies what is the current rate they are charging compared with the past, when people come to their door steps to get a loan to buy a three wheeler for instance? Would you agree?

And when people do not buy the quantity they require, there is no way the companies can sell their products, and then what are the results you can expect? ‘How can they pay the loans they have taken to nourish or to begin the enterprise? What if they ask you to empower people by organizing awareness programs on the topic ‘how important it is to begin an enterprise of your own’ for instance?

What if the institute suggests you to stop welfaring the members of the parliament too much and give that benefit to the people of the country, and for the people who are sorrowfully running their businesses? Would you agree?

Any ways, congratulations for the agreement signed! Sir, do we have a business sector development Centre / dept. in the country?Do you still have the Small, Medium Business Sector development loan scheme functioning? What is the minimum amount you release for them and for what interest rate?

Now i have a question to ask from the JVPian’s , how much money that you supported minister P.C. Ranawaka has stolen? From he headed ministry? You must be joking? In that case how can we trust what you say during presidential or any other election campaigns? People voted him thinking he is a man they can trust? He earned how much votes contesting under no. 1?Now,i like to hear your LOGIC in this matter.

And by the way, if you say that there are still people in the camps in the Northern Part of the country; can you take the challenge to re settle them within a six months time?Or within 5 months time? How many families since you become the chiefs of the country, manage to re settle those families in their original lands? how old is the government now?

Look! we can’t give you too long to correct what you were pointing out? and at the same time you need to take care of the rest of the development, infra structure , town development etc. and any plans to abolish the Executive presidency totally sirs?
