The April Wind

Dear Readers,

This, April Night Wind is to celebrate the 5th Birth Day of Foot Path. Thank you for reading my essays all these years and encouraging me every possible way.

The April Night Wind

Clouds the invaders,
Arrested all night stars,
Except few that didn’t surrender.

Dazzling Queen of night,
Hidden behind the veil of clouds,
Not in fear though.

The sweaty day has departed,
Welcoming the April night wind.
yet,
thoughts of mine,
Not smoothed or wetted.

April Night wind,
Unlike in dew-full mornings,
Calm and quite.

A half fallen leaf,
Dancing,
Obeying the rhythm of soft wind.

Like the hands of a pianist,
Leaves of palm tree,
Moving back and forth,
rhythmically.

The April Night wind; soft like petals,
Mysterious like a melody played in midnight,
Captured attention of mine.

Wandering thoughts of mine,
Dispersed and merged in April wind.

Sound of a little girl,
Arrived at door step,
Disappeared in night,
Staying inside for few moments.

This April wind of eye awakening night,
Teaching Unsettled minds,
Not to lose liberty of thoughts.

Cars and caravans still on road,
Checking their limits of speed.
Yet,
The April night wind,
Quite and calm like a meditator in Himalayas.

The wide open windows closed for the day,
Muting the days’ task.

Embracing the freshness of April wind,
The erabadu flowers,
Smiling like happy princesses.

TheApril night wind,
United in fresh rain,
Relieved day’s aches and pains.
