Some writes books. Some prints books. Some reads books. Some says things about books: about its outer shapes plus looks. Some say more about its contents less about its outer shape and looks. So this some, somehow has something to say or write about books.

The books are a popular subject today than yesterday.

Plus

The books are an ‘everyday topic’ not getting old. The subject of ‘books’ are always new.  From manuscripts, write on what ever surface strategies used in all old eras to date ‘the books ‘improved’ from outside plus from its within.  

Size of the book; I do not think that it matters at all for a reader. What is important for a person who is so thirst about information, some new knowledge, new innovations science or related and medical, engineering, humanities or social sciences related information and knowledge plus every category that I mention here and not the volume of information that it holds and that is more important than its size.

The reader sometimes so much concern about the way that the writer or the author have presented the information. So that reader or the learner will not get bored of learning or reading.

The language; Yes it is very much important. I am not that much aware of whether science related knowledge should come to the reader only in sciences way or can the same science information presents in an artistic way ? not sure

I m not lucky I could not meet Mr. Arthur C Clerk. I have not read his books mainly because I have a feeling that I will not be able to understand the sciences that he discussed in a very scientific but in a very popular methodical way. I have read and have heard that he used a very unique way to explain them.   I believe that to understand ‘sciences you need to know the relevant terms of the sciences you want to study.  May be I should try reading one of them it is like ‘you are trying to learn how to swim with out jumping in to a swimming pool or a similar place. I am a fool to say such things without trying to read a good book that he has written.

I do not follow any particular methods here to share what I like to share with you all my friends I may jump in to a totally different thing that I like to talk of books and say about them.

Therefore I apologize you may feel little disturbed in reading.  

For some it is a business within a service. For some it is a service only. For some books are their sources of living nothing else. Some writes and designs the outer pages of them. Some says or defines all these categories of work related to books (?) giving them modern names or define them in a more advanced and grammatically correct or reader like way.

Some use the graphics the way they like for sure applicable way or relevant way. Rarely we find books that have not followed the content and designed the outer shapes and looks. That does not really show the talent of the illustrator, designer – graphic the outer cover plays an important role that basically the first thing that touches the heart and minds and brains too of the reader. It is like love at first sight thing when it comes to selecting a book.  I like stopping near a good outer shaped and designed book for a fee moments and then I decide whether I should buy it or not and I buy them but of course depending on my need only.  

Affordability is a different matter here. So the designers too have a big role that is to try and understand its content and then design it accordingly.

Some Illustrations I love so much.

Some big or small home pages are full of or half full of books authored by different , different writers, 

different, different ways honored books , most selling books, least selling books, most read books.

 Some buy books but do not get chances or time to read them leisurely or totally they keep them on a shelf or a cupboard. At least they buy therefore some others can read them when ever they found them or looking for a good book to read.  Some reads them so rushfully or on their ways to offices or while long journey, back home or towards homes.

In some or most of the reading areas you need to stand and read that are not the books but the books like papers ‘ reading is not a punishment but that says or defines, reminds something ‘ no easy to write, read or understand things’ properly or accurately  I thought.

So home paged libraries or collated shelves are different to the ones at ‘whole  big shelves, labeled categorizing accurately using the right terms – librarically, places.

 Some places are huge like some people, individuals  and they have a different names ‘ they are shops’ book shops’ that is the popular name we are using for a place that sells and keeps books. important. Home or mansions like places some of them are.  Some do not have a big place ‘. The books are kept in order to ‘not to be touched by any bit of dust’ all of them are glassed or shelved so pleasing manner. Feels like buying all of them as I discussed earlier ‘affordability is a different matter or an issue.

The road side small, small outlets hardly have a roof places are different to ‘big mansions like shops – books’.

There are few at least one in every city. Some sell them keeping them on the pavements I do not know whether people go more in to such places or to the big shops depending on the availability of the books and needs I thought later.

So at such places  some books have plentyfull affiliations, relationships, coordinations at least a bit with peck of dusts or lorries full of them. Such books or the owners have no choice.  But I believe that they have no worries relationships with dusty rusty road near places.  The way they have kept books at a certain place along the roads always busy are something to think.  Small shelves, not very expensive ones all in a one shelf not labeled they live in unity in one shelf all religions, all sciences, arts, short stories, naval novels and old ones, they all in one plus the ‘life stories of tall personalities. You can’t just look for a particular label to fetch a book.    No I do not think there are any dusty places selling along ‘super highways’ but only in cites like cities. 

So even while wandering all along cities or any cites you have the chances to visit aaraamayas like ‘araliya mal aaramaya’

So this particular aaranya  ‘ARALIYA MAL AARAAMAYA’ donated to the shasanaya by one of my heroes ‘ JAYASENA JAYAKODI’. His thoughts and imaginations always attached with some or many or any or at least a few of ‘realities – life’. They are unstoppably readable, writable in minds, arguable with self, questionable within. Wandererble where ever like without getting visas people or officers of immigration or migration will say ‘nothing’, no one will irritates  no one says things to face or back ‘ choices of a ones reading is his/her own worlds. Mr.  The reader is the pure decider of the book that they are going to buy. I can not decide the book that my sister should read. But I can gift a book that I like so much or think is good, to read it or avoid it is solely her decision.  Mr. Jayakodi is such a person he allowed me to wander here and there of him owned donated to sasanaya via not only through araliya mal aaraamaya but also  through some of his other books. 

So after so many years I saw this aaramaya have come to the city and reading  the faces and minds of the ones who runs and walks rushes , discussing this and that, watching this and that ‘sets of people’ different or unique to each other.

Some do not notice this aaramaya. Because when  last time I saw this aaramaya it was not so visible or could be seen with some of the other aaramaya , mansions , institutions formal or informal, registered or unregistered under social services act or institutions.  but in a way that the owner or any walker or a wanderer or a visitor can visit the way they like.  We sometimes do not notice these place not surprised people are busy with so many of their own schedules, plans, objectives, aims of lives. Not that they just do not want to visit such places.  I believe that  some may have visited such places more than once or many occasions in the journeys of their sansara.

Such walkings or wanderings in and out of this places aarannya or places of books having a purpose in their minds ‘have no territorial or bordering difference. I noticed. Whether it in Bolivia or in Russia or in France Che or Kastro , no difference. Ways and strategies and the objectives are the only things that show how different they are from places or people.  Different books.

Some, many, so many, majority, from all places of this world  have visited this our  land officially 

diplomatically or in other ways from Vijaya kuweni era to medieval to date. They have things to say each and every one who visited have various or different, different things to say. Their perceptions, their ideas, their observed things, the way they explains, see things differ from person to person. They analyze our people, our places the way they have understood all of them

People can describe things the way they want some do not really care about the real pictures they touch things from surface not within. Some books tells each and everyone who reads about our people a  accurate picture. Good books are like good reports. They contain no false information they are no fictions. They touch realities, real incidents and pic them and share they presents them with good proofs accurate.

The books says a lot about the honesty of the author, writer the understandings of the author or the writer of the situations, incidents, lives of people. no fabrications gets full marks.

People like designing different outfits for different people thinking of their body shapes and appearances same some write books that matches the interests of the readers, people. Some give what reader asks from them. Some gives what they think is good for the reader.  Some bring crowing princesses or prince’s near your mind, heart doors some takes you to meet a war hero of any region or a philosopher or a brilliant minds.

We have met so many of them so far. I am sure.

But how many of them we really remember and stay in our hearts and minds? It is not the talent or a issue of the author or the writer may be it is because the way we read them

Some have different names for their books not just the titles- meaningful. ‘Some teach people ‘criminology’ ‘psychology’ some teaches our people ‘ how to meditate’ how to learn A – Z of alphabet of a different language that we are not familiar with or have not heard about before. They do all these miracles via the books they write. Some teach us things while they learning something. Some know the subject that they talk ‘from a – z’ some know little and try to write only the things that they know. People like me have many things to learn. Therefore book writing is a far aim point for me. may be not in this janma ( birth)

I am wondering sometimes whether these books read us. I thought every time I go passing these places  they all looking at the ones who go passing them ‘facing sun and rain with no difference. These – road side book shops’ ‘paara aine poth kada’ so good places. So near.  

They are open only to the ones who go passing them or come towards them. They are not open to the ones who stays very far to them or distanced ones.  To read closely you need to buy a book no one can read a book while it stays on the shelf.  These road side poth kade poth ( books of road side book shops) I have a feeling although they are not secured among any shelves ‘ air conditioned’ , roofed , coated with preferred paintings places ‘ no huge sign boards or name boards ‘ ‘why need a name’ they have a place no big deal for them. They stay happily. Apparently the place and the provided shelf  is enough for them . What is the point places having names when they have no place among people. So this  ( Not applicable to every place or person ) such places ‘road side book shops’ holds no big name boards but they have that place to live at least before they go with a person whom they get so much respect no insult and try read them understandfully and totally . ‘ I am not sure whether they pay any taxes to the municipal council for using the space their’s.

Che  is not a unfamiliar name’ Knox may little strange to the new or young teens because he was very old when he stepped out of this land.  It is not a name that comes with A – Z of sciences sutras or do not come under any mathematics

Some were born in Germany, Madagaskar, or Italy and visited here and agreed to baptized in our local language ‘Sinhalese .

I did not meet English Che I am these days trying to understand ‘the Sinhalese Che’ I have met this Sinhalese Che several times.  This time he was carrying his diary and I am thinking how to understand the fights and contributions of him to his ‘Bolivians out side Bolivians battles. The ones he has associated through out his battles there or everywhere against inhuman not familiar to me may be that is because I m not a Bolivian but a Sri Lankan.  It is good to understand them and apply it to the societies that we live their experiences we must try and learn and understand and apply when ever needs them.

Che is different to the father of Hamlet ‘ Shakespeare’ or to the God of small things. Che’s media involvements with people was different to Shakespere’s how to compare. No use.

The books taught me all these.

Discounts given or give for books for the books to be sold from this number to that number but never felt like bargaining. Why they are books not garments that are wearable and throw it away when torn.

These books empowered me, still empowering me, taking me through Pasdun korale to Hath korale, to the guards of forests territories who were not holding any weaponry but the orders of the King. Some faces of books so attractive they are not mirroring enough of their inner lanes though. I thought looking at the faces facing me sitting at pare potha kade (road side book shop)

I am thinking how to write profiles of others accurately. But it is an exercise I am not sure whether it is a deal between the author, writer or the person who is willing to share his/her life histories to be written on pages for others to view, or agreed to sell later. no books are there under the categories or labels ‘take any we do not charge’. Every book has a price tag fortunately or unfortunately. Some sells personalities but that can be done only after agreeing with the personalities.  

Some sells ‘letters’ love and some are confidential so they decide to sell them for a huge currencies that is an exercise that sometimes the person does not know or that happen generally after the death of the person but getting the ‘ official or unofficial permission of the living relatives, close ones.   For instance person’s wife or husband.

Why ?

is it just because people are so curious about how they loved each other ( legends lets assume) or is it because they provide quotes love or any other for them to live healthily.

I do not know

May be it is because such things are easily sellable than life quotes.

Love quotes are sellable than any other things I thought reason not easily define or note here.

How and what Diana wrote to his last fiancé or to the ones before took away her life permanently ‘ a death too is a sellable thing often such thoughts too comes in to my mind with out any second thoughts.

 Who is the only qualified person to write ‘profiles’? Things may not accurately compiling when someone else take the responsibility to write. No one can compile my profile so accurately adding a – z of my life events the way that I feel. Can write because later proof readings can be done but I am thinking how to give it an emotionally or psychologically valid weight. 

The books of personalities: some are politically tall some are spiritually tallest, some are apolitically very nourished, some are so fat in ideologies. That is how the appearances of the personalities who were sitting facing towards faces plus once in a way reading the bus route numbers and the passengers.  They all are comparatively shows difference to each other. You meet short ones and malnourished ones too.

Zoology to biology of creatures of this big universe they tell you or teach you. Senses and understandings of animals to humans, their shapes and sizes one can learn from viewing pages but before that it is good to read the contents that save your valued time. Amazing isn’t it.

The page enclose of contents gives you a hint of the number of the page that has the things or the information that you are looking for you so after visiting the content page one can accurately locate the correct page number without visiting wrong pages.  Even they are paragraphed for the easiness of the ones who view them. Such things we called ‘books’ nothing else.

Year of first published and after versions all one can read because they are printed.  Fonts of author‘s choice titles of authors choice ‘we read ‘

Introduction, to last page comment give you a little hint of the content or of the inner pages but I like reading them without reading or listening to the ideas of others to get a thorough understanding of the content.  It is sometimes good to read last page last.

Role of family on girl access to education ……………….

[Following I wrote on request of world pulse net on one of their efforts of contributing or providing any ‘community’, any member a helping hand so this note I like to dedicate to that one of their efforts,projects on ‘girls access to education’. The last date to submit the essays and stories was ‘10^th May 2013. I was unable to send this to the net – world pulse on time therefore I decided to post it on this path]

I generally do not like to stick to a single story here in order to share my ideas and views with ‘worldpulse net’ and who ever reads this.

I have a little question to ask before I write this essay based on my personal experiences of here and there of living, reading, writing and observing too.

What harm that gives a person in sharing at least a bit of knowledge with the other needy people of education/learning if she /he have the ability and the will to do so? Do you really have to be a formal or academically appointed teacher to share what you have learnt from this and that of sources of Education?    

Role of a family

Roles of a family one can define or categorize under different facets thinking of every corners of human needs giving this and that of explanations and definitions plus one can analyze the same depending on the needs and desires of people apart from the general universal or essential needs of general human beings.

Housing or shelter

Food

Clothing

No trouble places or Peaceful environment to live

Access to pure drinking water

One can list any list not just the basic human needs. Education is a must have thing in this world. Facilities provided or will be providing for any child to get a better education is not just a family‘s responsibility it is a whole bog responsibility of a whole nation.

The authorities has to be ready to welcome the child from the child is somewhat prepared giving necessary love plus understanding before sending to a outside world ‘the formal education entity the school’ for most kids a heaven the child is coming from a so close to each other place that is a place that some name not home sweet homes but ‘homes heaven like homes’.

Family or a place of living – home or the house or the mansion, castle or the pel patha, or shanties, the temporary shelters or semi permanent or royal park like ‘ thattu gewal ( storied houses) housing schemes, or from the places like ‘ 60 watte’ or Sri Siddharthapura’ area ‘ what ever area or what ever places or names you give the location one belongs to no matter ‘ all should have the access to education’   

All should have the access to education. We know the levels of reaching the sight that the person or the child wants solely depend on the skills and talents of the child that too we know. But to sharpen child’s skills or motivate him/her, providing necessary aduma kuduma ( the essentials ) it is a role of a teacher, school very including ‘the parents’

I understand that now a days parents are so busy ‘thinking of their child all the time’ which school to send , what things to be provided which lane or education she/he should take every morning to evening they have things to think that is because they are their children’

Child is the most important person that is the idea of the present scholars compared to early or very yester years or decades and decades of gone by days the days that the Robert Knox identified.   

Role of a family is immeasurably important firstly the parents of a girl or a boy child should understand the ‘value of gaining better education’ formal or informal way. That is the main and very ‘trustable foundation’ second to no other foundation built using very concreted mixture way.

No other person, individual, relative or a group can underestimate your child s right to education or right to live then it is you (the parents) who can give your child a better education plus security no one else can do much better than you sometimes.

Let me share just a single story to prove my idea which is ‘the family – the school is the best and undoubtfully important institution for a child to get an informal education in a formal and very close way. That is at the very preliminary level or the stage.

Education is not just learning A – Z letters and words and concepts, definitions, arts and crafts, science and mathematics etc. it comes along with other confidence and encouraging ingredients.

I try to avoid saying or mentioning names here

I was not that small when I first heard this from a very respected I love so much teacher (I do not like to mention her name here) she belongs to a very reputed family of her area and generally this my talk goes back to early 70 s. Generally back in those days so called ‘lower’ ‘caste’ or ‘class’ people go and help the households of above mentioned, opposite categories of people in this and that of out of houses, in the gardens for work for instance ‘collecting firewood for their reputed kitchen and play with their kids, baby sitting for their families even this was expected from the kids of some sort, pluck fruits or collate coconuts from the gardens of prospers (class of a person changes due to very many reasons not like ones caste ) other than that families of the era that I particularly talk of that is 70’s do not expect the other family children to get maximum education like the children of their families.

Some how this patterns of thinking and treating children the way above mentioned that some used on children's right to education and parents big like universe desires to give their kids a better education thankfully changed a lot due to few important reasons.

The parents always loved and wanted their kids to get better education even on any era even though some were not sent to formal institutions back in early years before introducing any acts along with full potential definitions and encouraging notes of better education.

One is thanks to the ‘FREE EDUCATION SYSTEM OF THE COUNTRY introduced though even this took a little while to established the idea among the country people and all over country it was not easy at all to change people’s attitudes toward many things not only about education or related rights.  Not only the idea of free education but also acceptance, the free books text books and necessary modules for a libertyful learning, within the ideas of providing better education they introduced some small lines likes providing something for them to eat – nutritional  cookies or a glass of milk for free to give them a little libertyful but hungry- less mind to learn freely and peacefully.

 I like to emphasize  that access to EDUCATION - FREE EDUCATION became a reality thanks to the idea headed by ‘ Dr. C.W.W. Kannnagara and later all supportive heads and brains tops to bottom and the support given by the families

The idea of free education provided the children of lets say poor or unprivileged families  a huge ladder to go up ‘so easily with out facing any destructions and hazards ( no mental torture from any so called families at that era)  of any group or family.

So let me come back to what I was telling

She thought (I do not think that she has changed much in her opinions even now) that only the kids of her kind of families should learn MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCES AND BECOME DOCTORS (MEDICAL) AND ENGINEERS OR become HIGH LY RESPECTED personalities POSITIONS holders not the other children of her village who come and work in their own paddy fields or in their acres of home gardens with coconuts, mangoes or bananas so such children should learn anything below such recognition of education

So this free education given OUR CHILDREN our people all girls and boys a chance for a better education at formal schools and in UNIVERSITIES caste or class become nothing before this immeasurable idea of free EDUCATION therefore children of all families got the opportunity to learn like all others and became strong in their living ‘ education full fills people’s and parents , societies desires to become ‘top’ in a good way without alienating cornered from other societies of other regions continents or territories of the world.

Cash is not a big issue to get a better education for children who has the access to free education. My parents not belonged to a cuurnecily, highly reputed family or they were not on top of the village even when think of the divisions of a society. Thanks to free education I could study up to University though during the latter stage of our lives my father had very less affordability issues he could easily spent any money that needed for my education 

When parents are strong and especially when fathers think that their daughters should get maximum level of education exactly like their sons no one can underestimated their daughters . My father my first teacher, mother taught different things or I learnt different things watching her she is not a lazy woman at all compared to now she was very different then even now she writes every thing down or keep notes of her expenditure sometimes she has very old receipts of the things that they have bought from different places. Those things too come under education, one of the categories informal though such things are different to academically framed or certified ways  ‘informal education or self learning there are plentiful ways.  I know what effort he took to make me understand ‘the importance of education’

Therefore I believe PARENTS and family support and understanding the importance of education for all levels of girls, ladies of all age or that is the main thing that daughters and sons need. I m thinking of some of the societies at this moment I know how some societies think when it comes to girls access to education.

Back in early years of this region we live ‘the girls were killed just because they were born as girls or as daughters because of many reasons ‘ dowry was one of the reasons’ and child marriages from the very first moment of their births their marriages were arranged.  Now the situation is different and I know even when compared to this region with that region or those regions ‘ attitudes towards better education of any group, people are much better’

Still ‘ATTITUDES’ of some people needs to be changed with regard to ‘peons’ should remain as peons ‘clerks should remain as clerks maids do not have the rights to get better educations  nannies should only learn how to take care of a child ‘people needs to changed them selves ‘ though we live in this technologized world we people live in cages still.

ALL HAVE RIGHT TO GET BETTER EDUCATION FORMAL OR INFORMAL WAY

There are days that I do not particularly stick to title of my essay I like writing this and that of other things as well.

Once a kid asked me, I was a teacher for sometime back.

‘Teacher why this alphabet started with letter A not ‘X’ and end with ‘Z’ I can not remember the answer that I gave the kid but I have a feeling kids always have things to question and adults too. Adults have different questions they ask their question on particular specialized people, friends or the ones that they think that it is possible to get an accurate answer. that is the difference between kids and adults. Some adults asks kiddies like questions that too has some significance when it comes and ‘questions and answers’? That is the general situation.

Everything is numbered in this world. You and I can not say NO she and they can not say no, who can say yes or who can say no is not a big issue. Take the certificate of birth how many numbers it has? Take the other things exams, every single thing is numbered. I do not know whether the carts have any number plates but every other vehicle comes with a certain number until they get the exact number from the relevant authority. Some numbers begin with 1 and some beging with 10 some numbers ends with 0 some numbers comes like mixed fruit cordial (?) I do not know whether they mix every thing so cordially or accordingly or in what order put them afterwards.

Some were born in 1954’s some were born 1970, 1976, 87, 88, 89,  some died in the same years my mother was born in 1950 , my father was born in 42 one of my uncle (he is so chubby) he was born in 54.like that we all have numbers attached to our lives.

Some died in 83 some were born in that year who does not know that . 

I like a natural death but I have no fear over death.

But I totally and completely oppose the idea of holding guns and bullets or even the idea of ‘taking a gun ‘ for what ? against your ‘ own country member, own co – worker, party member, people who voted you for the vows you made at the beginning of elections, for giving you a seat to work for people, who expect you or our people to take weapons instead of some flowers or pens.

Use your ‘voice’ not weapons. The citizens are not any more ‘stupid’ or foolish ones’

I guess we need to think of the prestige life we live. we need to think of the ‘we all must live in unity, peace and harmony’ what bucks they ( who ever) offer you for saying such things. They might use you they might use you to ruin the ‘current situation of peace’

By the way that your saying was it related to Halal?  What you said is a haram thing. Take the ‘AL KURAN’ and keep it close to your heart when you feel or harmful thoughts comes to your mind.  Gun fires, gun dealings even a thought of such do not you feel that such things are against your teachings?

NO ETHNIC SHOULD TAKE OR EVEN TOUCH OF ANY HARMFUL WEAPONS.

There are no minorities here in this country anymore. We all one and we are a one nation.

I believe as a citizen of this country and a leader or a certain community, as a personality you who has some knowledge on how to do this and that of community work please use them for the sake of all people not only for a one ethnic group in particular.

GN to mayor or any other superior positions were given to work for the people though some think that it is a weapon or a power tool and a position that they can use for any or many things.

What is the last time you visited interior village in East or West, Central hills, or NCP, SP?

How big is your finding/s list? And how big is the ‘solutions list’?  any 

plans to implement something new?

The power of ‘POWER TEA’-A Dedication note to the ESTATE WORKER plus all other WOKERS

( This is a belated ( Today, 02, May 2013) MY WISH LIST plus some refreshment ( Tea) served in a bit of cool way ? sorry about that)

What is the best way to start this essay? Though I like to start all my essays in a bit of good way I am not always satisfied about the way I begin to write. This moment I thought of begin this note in a musical way though it is not a naval way because I have tried that way of beginning something.

Sweats of workers are for some, not so musical or classical but 

something that can be celebrated once a year on 01^st May. The ways of begin something or end something is always unique to every person or every group, organization, party. Rallies may not always tallies the ‘pure’ ideas of venerating or respecting the truly working workers. But that is one of the ways all these years in the history have taken place or have practiced. There were very little ‘silent ways of respecting or celebrating ‘the day ‘May day’.  I do not know at organizational, institutional or society or state level ‘what number of issues ( are there any to be solved) that they may have touch to solve, or addressed or ‘ found solutions in their hand’ how many or what many ‘worker friendly’ programmes, projects were implemented or began yesterday.  I am not aware of the number of workers who came up with a list of things that needs to be addressed or yet to be addressed having a note in their hand to meet the ‘top authorities’ addressing following way

Dear Sir/Madame these are the problems we have’ or these are the things we did this far’ ‘thank you for taking care of the worker this far’. Did anything similar happened yesterday other than participating or organizing rallies, meeting the women at women’s organizations?  How many of you really met your own worker yesterday and discuss or share ideas or how to improve the organization we are involved in or engaged in. what are the things that can be done to uplift the organization. How many of you really meet the worker and the payee or the employee at least once a month or twice a month? Can we remember what we really discussed at our very last meeting? Where are the minutes of the meeting?     

Please pardon me ‘I am not at all against rallies or any other gatherings’ that too so important and a way to meet the truly working ‘worker’  

People value things their own ways or the ways that their hearts and minds says ‘this is the way our party works or the way we might work or must work’ ‘that is not a good way we should try something different’ ‘such ways are bad’ ‘some or most the ways are so effective’ ‘some ways are accurate’ ‘some ways are somewhat good people analyze things within and then come up with something better or worse. Depends.

I am not talking about the ‘old reports’ that we have already discussed. how many of you really met the ‘the grass root level’ workers I am not talking about one particular organization or a group that represent ‘ mahanuwara weli sangamaya’ or delgoda del sangamaya’ or kosgoda elawalu sangamaya’ in particular.

Again I like to say that I am not criticizing any of the ways practiced so far through out the ‘history of celebrating the May day’ I am just questioning?  

In the past, there were strategies, methods followed with regard to finding solutions for the matters related to workers. We talk of matters that the workers face in general but as WORKERS WHAT DO WE DO APART FROM EXPECTING THINGS FROM RELEANT AUTHORITIES. How many of you, me, they, all are honest to their duties? ‘ I say these things following the rule of ‘ thoppiya hari nam daaganna neththan amathaka karanna’ (if the cap matches wear it otherwise forget or ignore what I am saying) nothing to worry or nothing to argue ‘ what you all can say is that ‘she is very immature in knowing the current ways of working - wholistically all around the world’ again I like to tell I am just questioning.   We truly think only a tiny bit of the things that we ourselves can be done to improve to uplift our own levels in the professions.

We need to think of our part, role as well. it is not fight word to word or event to event. No organization can support just one person, group or a one particular section such things are against organizational ethics. No state can support only their party members ‘the country = all’. I notice some of the posters used have touched some colours and I can understand how and what such things represent. How some things get the individual preferences or become very individualistic. No good a labour have no particular colour other than the organizational or institutional colours. No private colours must blend in the things practice or implement. Personal stuff are totally and wholistically different to ‘common things’ and practices. I do not mix things with my personal confidential ( confidential Excuse me , NO J ) or carrier and other beliefs and perceptions or what ever, you name.   

What are the things that we might follow or currently following in our ‘duty seats’ to smoothen our own work without facing too much hazards in the work fronts what are things to be innovated to work efficiently or not so boringfully.

The team should DISCUSS’ together not alone or with one or two or particular, specific group all ;levels are important.  And who know they might have better or efficient ideas plus instant ‘ or practical list’ to be implemented immediately.

Efficiencies to ‘proficiencies there are things that we might think in order to ‘protect our professions’ AND our institutions. Worker and the institution are not totally or completely two different things they have to depend on one and another. Both the employee and the employer needs to respect each other.

This word RESPECT ‘is a very respectful word to my knowledge

WORKER SHOULD RESPECT THEIR PLACE OF WORK OR INSTITUTION ( EMPLOYER)AND in return THE INSTITUTION ( AUTHORITIES, EMPLOYEE OR PAYEE) SHOULD RESPECT their WORKERs. Employee and employer relationship is different to the worker - worker relationships ( co –workers). We must not try to depend too much on our co – workers, fellow workers or on our seniors or juniors in handling our work loads. Helping is different.

We can talk about right of workers and at the same time we too have things to think ‘what are the responsibilities attached to our duties then we have the complete right to talk about our ‘rights’.   

Occasionally we like doing things without inquiring or we do not think of learning from others good ways of doing things.  

So is this my note becoming so dull to read shall I pour some tea plus some cookies with some music from background?
 let me try to change my style of discussing things in to some teaful way or not tearful ok.

The power of power tea/tree 

Is that a song that everyone knows or only some generations know?. It is alright my friend to have a good cup of tea careful if you are fighting against sugar alright. (this is a advise to my little handsome brother as well)

Why all generations do not know all the songs and some generations know some songs and new songs but not old songs let me guess the reason for that I think it is because this music world is so huge compared to a single region, territory, community, village, city therefore I think they have to select and then listen. I guess we all my try and taste all flavers before sticking to just ‘coffee or tea’ or ‘pol pala’ ‘ ranawara’ or belimal wathura’. What do you say my friend Senel wanniarachchi the ‘good thought guy’.  

Yesterday, ( the before I started writing this essay) I just sat for few minutes to read the old papers, the writings I missed though I have bought the papers few days ago there I found few writings full of good information in one of them Mr Nimal Gunasekara reputed singer has reveled a lot about his thinking towards ‘current preferences and choices, and the uniqueness of the music of ones own’

This note I actually started  writing few months ago following was one of the ways that I thought of start this note wishing Mr. Holande ( I am sure you can guess the oldness of this note) good luck for his victory against his opposition electors anyways I thought it is alright to keep the sentences though the news has become very old by now

 All the best Mr. Hollande !  And Je t’aime France. I am sure the French love tea, our tea especially

Early morning a tea for some brings good thoughts no matter whether it is a Saturday morning cup of tea with a friend at a little café or a road side kade watching the ones go passing or ones who come to the eye sites alone or with groups or else Sunday morning or evening at a huge place with good name because of the industry Tea plus tourism’.  

Tourism plus tea, hospitality plus tea, friendships plus tea, good poems plus tea, good novel to read plus tea, plus and plus with any or many exciting events or moments, brings some boost or ‘power’ ( a different power) to any or many of here and there of the world. Some arrange peduru (mats ) parties with tea or juices of their choice any ‘ juicy stuff’ liquidized parties yesterday?

Some after winning something gives their friends parties inclusively some tea, some to celebrate an event , some for friendships, some to talk of old memories , to start new friendships or relationships talk about families, events, achievements, Tea can bring this and that of something at least

One should not mixed things with Power of tea with poverty

Tea of a poor may show a bit of difference to a rich not flavourlly or favorably the way of making it sometimes I m thinking of the way they serve it.

A poor may sip some tea sitting in the pila ( seating facility made of concrete or goma meti ( cowdung + clay) talking to his wife/husband/kids taking some sugar in to his/her palm.

Maybe you find no difference in serving poring them to a made in what ever territory or community porcelain or silvering or otherwise. Same tea one can have  at a star classed hotel.   

That is the ‘power of tea’.  It is anywhere everywhere ‘cup of tea’ some give it a personal look some give it a ‘common look’ that is the power of power tea.

Tea is a popular word especially in the Asian region I believe. Ours is a tea loving country. ‘Sri Lankan tea is popular globally. The world can easily recognize the flavor of our tea.

Power tree is different than this power tea. I don’t know whether it is good to talk about ‘POVERTY’ here especially after me deciding to talk about the power of ‘power tea’. Poverty is not a bad term thinking of the ‘power of the word’ ‘poverty’ it is popular than this powerful tea. ( ? am I right ?) Because that is an internationally known term or an issue for some part of the world it is sores in some part of the world, everything is comparative in this world. Yes I truly believe that it has so much power and some generally can come to power only if this exists (poverty) I strongly believing that.

Some of the power lovers generally celebrate their victories organizing powerful tea parties. (Liquor parties No! I doubt because the present GO is the implementer of ‘mathata thitha’ program.

‘This is not just an election’ this is the slogan of many or any power lovers who wish to enter in to the zone of power. I respect and venerate the ones who truly want to put fullstop to matha of any type (here matha is NOT the opinions )  

One can easily sell the essence of both ‘Power tea’ and ‘poverty’ I like to believe.

‘The tea leaves’ are so lighter but so powerful sure has the power of earning good money.  Anyone who has the adequate or required knowledge on ‘how to grow tea and sell’ tea as a business I guess can move out of poverty.   

Ceylon tea is very popular amongst all the tourists who visit Ceylon then and now Sri Lanka.

Poverty is a huge topic now and then not only for poor but also for others. Some think poverty is lack of Kaema bema saha salli ( drinkables and eatables and money) or no shelter , no big vehicle or no friends around all the time, no parties is a sign of poverty or outer shape of poor. Wrong it is not always true. It has a something different too a different facet I am talking about here.

I am poor in many, many ways or some ways not just in currencies or measurable materialistic stuff ‘ I am poor compared to the knowledge of the world, knowledge of people around me and before me. I am very poor compared to the book I read (half) today ‘ poem tree’ , I am very poor compared to the loads of word owners ( all languages) of this existing world.

I am a Buddhist that too is a balaya for me because that provides me spiritually and logically required and adequate ‘day today essence of power to live’   That is truly a balaya but I am a single person and I know that balaya (power) is not a matter of ‘how many people are there in the group’? What is the real objective of the group/or the singulars or the plurals , what is the real objective of a general organization forget tea for a moment. Tea small holders are one of the big groups we have though the group or the set of people we name putting the word ‘small’ at the very beginning.

Power Tea is totally different to coffee power or to Collin Powel am I right. My sister’s little friend chef also believes that it is sometimes good to mix bit of coffee when you make ‘milk tea’ to give it a different flavor. 

Let me talk a bit of something different but relates to everyway ‘I love the idea of estate bungalows’ the architecture, and the hugeness of stories attached to this historically introduced plant from the tea respecters, inspectors, innovators – the growers

Poverty is a kind of a sellable topic thankfully for NOT ALL who like touching this subject. It is researchable too non profit organizational way.

‘Tea’ is a not too small or not too tall plant but this needs so much care and attention.

Houses for Tea pluckers to every person who work at the lower level of the process was not so eye pleasing now the situation has changed a lot. Who hold the power of tea in the early stages of the planting since introducing? The big growers, the small ones were little neglected by who ever responsible. The labourers were not taken care of that much initially. Their houses were lined. It does not matter unless they provided with all the necessary facilities other than the ‘small dispensaries or the clinics within, 

The youngsters of the earlier paramparas/generations were little ‘we do not want to work as labouers though my father, mother, my grand parents and their parents worked here for years and years’ they had such perceptions, why? Because of the place that the outside society given to their roles played as a worker not just the comfyness of the places they lived.

I could not visit an estate since about three years but I would love to. I like believe that the situation there all the places must have changed for the good, better? I guess they had a minster who understood their hearts and minds I like to believe that the son of the ex – minister Thondaman still follow his father’s lane and help maximizingly to the estate worker not state level.  Talking is not always good practicing is the best medicine for any or many things also to work for them’ totally not occasionally. I don’t doubt just saying.   

   

Manual labour is more important at every initial stage of this TEA planting to final process of breaking them in to tiny tiny pieces and nicely packing them in to so marvelously designed outer covers and most of them are to be established locally at the shops of this and that type, hotels of star class motels to hotels, luxuriest - five stars what else the super outlets local of all owners – reputed, avanhal/restaurants, small or big outlets maintained by places belongs to corporations, what is the favmous place on the way to Matara ? Dunhinda to ella , ella wellawaya, Anurapura to Polonnaru, Dambulla to dimbulagala, Hambantota to Jaffna, Batticalos, vavunia, oooophs how can I forget my game kade ( village boutique)  and kade aiya’s kade, the place that Latha akka goes to buy tea, pare kade, weva langa kade, the kade which situated in Kumarigama, hitha Honda kade, ada nayata heta mudalata kade Ohhhhh sorryyyy ada mudalata heta nayata kade, kotuwe kade they do not sell tea ( Mathara kotuwe kade, there is one branch in kandy) I doubt they have any other household goods to be sold and then finally this so elegantly packed tea bags ( so tiny and so embraceable) plus tiny to small and big or all or small all or most like a cup of tea - sized tea packs ready to reach the ships that are always ready to bring this and that of any and many things from outside territories and take away the things demands from outside to our borders, territories - overseas to reach the markets international, Bengal to London, France to Spain, Alaska to Nigeria, hello Japan, How are you china how are the Islanders work these days – all is fine there no? FRIENDS no you two JAPAN & CHINA.

What will remain at the end friends? Honda hith( good minds)

So that is friendship that tea brings in to people’s dining and relaxing area, reading rooms, lunch rooms etc BUT exporting is something very different. 

Tea is generally a hospitality partner of all- world.

Hey! Coffee ‘what do you think’? Do you think that I have forgotten you? No buddy coffee too bring not only financially currencies emotionally some perfectionalisms in to our lives.

In may be few weeks time from now

I will try to coffee the world in a cup of coffee way hopefully with some elegantly layered chocolate in the middle - biscuits a side or with some Hawaian cookies munchi oh crunchy.
