Her Journey has just begun

No Journey is smoother or easier 

( Please note that i wrote this essay based on the knowledge that i have gain from the various sources of information of the world through my readings and everything that i discuss here is not specifically aimed at Sri Lankan Ladies / mothers but everything that i try to discuss here according to my common sense is applicable to any expecting mother of any society of this world)

From neonate to maturity of womanhood or manhood, the distance is not shorter or living is not easier.

Pre natal stage I believe is one of the most important periods to consider and must take care of consciously. 

My sister often brings news home, along with many other things, after work.

She comes home safely, for me, is a day’s achievement. A woman or a mother who is expecting brings many hopes and aims to the entire family I believe. The expected news from a newly wedded lady of a certain family is a fresh neonate that is to not just to carry forward their hopes, aims and objectives and cultures of not only the ‘family itself but also of the generations she he belongs

So let me come back to the news that my sister brought yesterday. she just shared what she heard and got to know with me , without any names and addresses. That is the good thing about what she shares. I often believe that the identity of the person is unimportant for a learner but the incidents and the things that can be learned from the shared information by whoever

The news was about an abortion. It is not something that had done purposely, according to what she shared with me it had happened due to I like to insist ‘carelessness’ or lack of knowledge or poor awareness on the ‘early pregnancy period’. We live in a country where ‘free advise and free health care is available’ and even I know that who ever visit with no money in pocket some good doctors who runs their own private channeling centers like Dr. Gamlathge provide free medication. So we live in such background thankfully

Yet, I like to write how careless some times we are in using the ‘health care facilities’ we are provided with. Weekly or daily ‘clinics’ OPD’s available to get support for the expecting mothers

I know that it is truly amazing that how the human body is formed. It is even amazing and wonderful how the body of a woman is formed or created to bear a living being whole heartedly. The womb, fetus, the internally secure place is unmatchable with any other place of this earth that provides any child a better place, that a neonate receives when from the first moment of settling down. Until the infant step in to the universe we live everything is provided within

To improve, enhance, build every inch of the fetus in a more stable and, strong, thick framely manner, pre - ‘health and nutritious level’ of the pre expecting mother is important. And then to gain readiness to bear the neonate with confidence, within, she has to remember to gain every essential facts of nutrition that helps to maintain not only internal and external stability of the mother during the pregnancy period. That is essential also for the improvement of every inch of cerebrum, heart and mind of the neonate and infant. Healthy infant is always a result of level of care and attention that a pregnant mother receives or gains during her pre natal stage

Immature pregnancy or lack of readiness for a pregnancy may cause problems during entire period of pregnancy and even at the stage of delivery

Abortion is a common issue that basically the entire world is facing I believe. In some of the communities or countries it is known as a big issue. Force abortion or natural abortion I believe is two different things to analyze yet solutions can be found with less difficulty. For that attention of all other than the family members is essential. If such issues report due to lack of awareness of the mother, ‘all responsible parties have to make sure that every step is taken to reduce or to delete such issues totally from their communities to assure good health of a expecting mothers. 

according to the current health data that i receive from the pregnant mothers who visits clinics regularly receives satisfactory and adequate medical advise and medication. often some incidents such as above reports, before some ladies reach the door steps of the medical centres or to gain proper medical attention   

Often single mothers go for the option or the choice of ‘abortion’ due to many reasons. Perhaps, ‘insecurities’, lack of confidence to raise a child, fear of social isolation are few of the reasons. If they have taken a decision that go against the customs and traditions of the societies they live, single mothers or girls go for the option of abortion specially when the mate or the boy friend do not like to accept a child. These problems may specifically occur because of ‘pre marital sexual relationships’ that do not show any legal protection for the bond.          

Some girls, ladies choose unsafe abortion options or go to places that provide unsafe abortion guidelines when they find no other options to choose. Such things or places normally are banned places or known as illegal or things that no society is accept.  I believe there are incidents reported related to places where ‘prostitution is institutionalized. In such surroundings pregnancy is a barricade to continue the job and mistresses or who ever runs such places never accept them to become pregnant with the ones even that they fall in love with. That is pity.

An abortion is advised only when it is really necessary. Especially when mother or the neonate is in danger, healthily, every other abortion is that is not medically approved is illegal.  Reasoning this ladies chose places medically disqualified or immature or the places where there is no proper medical equipments but uses unauthorized equipments that brings no good result but ‘death’ or aftermath, poor health results.

Such poor options may bring bad news for the lady and for the entire family not just the news of loosing the child (Unwanted or wanted) but also that may cause or brings results such as ‘no child bearings there after due to improper or incorrect medications that they receive from illegal places that do abortions.

I have heard incidents that women in rural areas, in the past who have used not proper medical advises or gone to such places to seek solutions but have used options such as eating eateries that affects the fetus or the neonate  when they want or expect no child  

Therefore it is essential and is a responsibility of a whole society as well to take care of both mother and the neonate with so much care.

I am thinking, what a creation is this human’ that we cuddle, embrace as a infant or as a child and praise, blame, insult, uplift, as an adult

Pre natal to Natal, infant to child, child to youth, youth to adult, adult to death can anyone ignore single moment giving life a less importance? No! Adults can take of their own lives yet ‘neonates, infants, the children they need some monitoring and attention with regard to their well-being that is to maintain a balance and healthy life. Often I believe that the subject knowledge is important yet practice what one learns is the most important thing to do.

For any immature deaths, I am not sure whether I am totally correct here, I believe that ‘carelessness’ is the main reason. Pregnant mother is a responsibility of a whole family not just the responsibility of her mate. She has a role to play while expecting the support and care, affection from the near and dear ones, I believe

Other than the mate, husband, boy friend of the pregnant mother ‘the in laws has some responsibility towards the mother that recently joined their family or long joined. That is not only socially but also ethically

In the traditional concept of family a mother is taken care of by the entire group of ‘extended family’, in laws, and close relatives, grand parents other than the close neigbours and friends

In a village where people live with less hazards and live leisurely , no busy lives they do small , small favours to take of the mother of the family of their village. Example they cook something special for them and often given to her to show their concern towards her. Those things we need to module them within not only on the pages of a book.  Nuclear families are often isolated due to various social, economical and cultural reasons. Therefore the needs and the wants of a singular family or a nuclear family now are very individualized. The nuclear family has to take care of everything by themselves with less assistants of the immediate relatives or of the extended families, that is the picture of a family of this modern world we live. That has become something inevitable or unavoidable perhaps that is basically because of the complexities of the world and its inhabitants

According to some of the arenas that I have come across, family’s desires wants, aims and objectives circling around currencies other than the affection and love psychologically known as essentials for any human being to live with confidence and happiness. Compared to the notes or currencies that provides comfortable surrounding materially love and affection or care is important yet I believe given less importance in the current context of living. Often this results divisions within the unit of the family.

No journey is smoother, conciousful beginning may bring happiness and happy endings

Lets take care of the girl child whom you have just viewed, trying to proceed towards her destined destination though you can not read her, to weigh or measure her desires, aims or objectives of life through the fine lines of her face
