Kadugannawa >>>>>>>>>>>>

Some towns, some cities, some places, sometimes gets my attraction and attention. Some names sounds good but some just the sound no good surroundings

I can’t specifically list any of the reasons of my likes and dislikes of town or villages or places, reasons are various or historical and often personal to me

I don’t think that every traveler holds similar desires or identities wants and needs of each and every traveler differ from traveler to traveler

The places that the travelers like to visit not necessarily has to be the same then there is no novelty

One may find similarities such too are not strange, for instance any traveler may find a community hall in this village and in that village perhaps in all the villages

Then what is the difference ‘how one operates or maintains or functions’, how one deals with the beneficiaries

If you find struggles between the beneficiaries and the benefactors then we have something to think further

Benefactors always think of the successes of their beneficiaries

Today, I do not like to travel beyond Kadugannawa I like to entangle only in the valleys of the kadugannwa without trying to walk here and there of all the town I known or have visited before

From Kandy to Kadugannawa there is no big distance I can easily travel between Kandy and Kadugannawa via any of the path ways, bus or train I can’t choose to walk because walking is not always practical to do though you have the plenty of chances to collate this or that of the walk ways

Travelers are various and are from various continents or regions, from a village or can be from a town

Some towns and some old towns gets attention of the travelers or of the visitors because of the values hidden or perhaps unrealized or because of the things they have heard, learned

Some towns may belongs to the categories of urban or semi urban and similarly there are significances that you may find between towns, cities and villages
I can’t think very rural or isolated areas these days but I can think of somewhat rural or very urban

For an urban to become very urban needs little time but for a very rural to become very urban it has taken some time.  I guess development is not a struggle between ‘rural or urban’ it is ‘what is to be found within rural or urban’ that is what important for any traveler

Travelers are different to others who go and seek for things

Seekers are researchers there are things that the seekers find than the travelers or both find things unique to their own interests specific to their subjects
Some travelers look for novelties, they like to visit the places that they have not visited before

Often you find travelers that like to visit same place or travel destinations because of the specialties it holds

Rural to urban there is only a very shorter distance that is the miracles of the technology

I like Kadugannawa not just because of its name or the formulations of the word half the reason is its views and surroundings. The ranges of misty mountains are so eye soothing it is like viewing or reading an eye of a little girl of innocence
Other than that the historical values of the Old Kadugannawa. I can imagine of the battles or struggles of some of the eras

Written or unwritten, discussed or scripted, history remains as history

At a place like Kadugannawa loads of thoughts comes in to anyone’s minds without any invitations

Other than the bus travelers almost all the travelers who travels passing Kadugannawa stops there at least for few minutes, I am sure

some travelers gets thinking intervals or chances to travel back and forth of their own or written histories of Kadugannawa whilst the helpers or the supporters washes the vehicles dusted for months or may have forgotten to taken care of

Little, little impermanent structures of sweets and fruits, the very old Kadugannawa – Ambalama , the paddy fields below the roads, longing for some attention, teeny weeny water ways that seeps from the rocky surroundings, the travelers watching the travelers, travelling upwards or downwards of kadugannawa all those are no strange to any traveler

The icon of significance, ‘the Bathalegala Mountain’ looks steady compared to the other ranges of supporting mountains. That always steals the attention of the travelers knew, never knew, new and modern, old and young, impatient, silent, no talkative, thoughtful

The hurried can’t read kadugannawa properly I often like to assume that is why the bus travelers can’t stop and read any of the destinations reasons I do not have to mention here

You find travelers here and there, here and near too. Here and near travelers are known to me since souls and souls and have traveled with me for souls and souls, I like to think that way

Kadugannawa is not an easy path to drive ahead and it is no flat, a little hilly and a little bendy and trendy bouncy too. Any disagreements?

According to my mixed and scrambled thoughts kadugannawa is a place of preferences. One can easily walk back and forth, along the roads of history towards kandy or stays at Kadugannawa, meets Madduma Bandara from here or Captain Dawson, from there

Preferences are always various and understandable when some likes or chooses to stay in Kadugannawa at a rock view, some likes or prefers to entangle in Pilimatalawa, some others like to embrace Peradeniya , Kneel Down before Dalada Maligawa

Scripting, manuscripting or healing the hearts of the hunters, searching for inscriptions hidden or surfaced, all these depends on the preferences or choices of the travelers
