the good heart conductor friend 'SUMITH'

Time was about 5.15 pm. i was seated in the bus 168 before it starts it's journey towards Kotahena from Nugegoda. The place is not a strange place ' the bus stand'- Nugegoda.

This time generally is little busy not only for the bus friends and the friends who supports them always also for the ones who hurriedly try to reach their peaceful homes.

'ahhhh naginna 68, 168, 68

ahhh naginna pagoda paara 63, 63, 163............ naginna negala issarahata yanna

These things are general not very surprised verses that everyone who travels by bus also go passing these busses get to hear in their own mode of travelling and even walking.

i can feel their inner tiredness to a certain extent but physical tiredness to the maximum, reason is not because that i can feel that they have been working since morning. because of the voice tone.they are like tared.

so today i am not going to write anything like a magal pedura ( mat) here is what i have to say.

we talk about huge topics and huge personalities who do this and that and everything of this world and some of them are honured and respected.  Organizers give a way huge trophies or gifts for these good heated and most respected personalities i guess their contributions to this society big or small get others recognition and the big world easily get to know what they do.

But there are small people though they are not small in what they do or the way they think about certain things of the world and even about their people own or otherwise. they go hidden or others never get to know what they are doing in a small way may be but has a 'immeasurable value if you think a moment.

so let me come straight to the point.

a lady came holding a child i guess the child is about 2 years old and i noticed she muttered something to our friend bus driver who works in the same route 168. I did  not hear what she was saying to the our friend driver.

but i heard what our driver friend's was saying to her as the answer

' ape golaya nam phone ekak hoya hoya hitiya tikak balanna kittuwa ethi

our helper/assistant too was looking for a phone to buy he must be somewhere close by

she went around looking for the conductor - friend i saw she was asking one person about the person and little later i saw her talking to the conductor who direct me to the 168 bus the latest to start journey.

i did not hear their conversation because they were little away from where the bus was parked.

A few moments later ....................

The conductor friend came and shared few words with the driver of the bus where i was seated.

kenek phone ekak wikunanna aawa gattada?

somebody came to sell  a phone did you buy it

neha eka a tharam honda neha
No, it is not that good

400 kata illanna mama salli dennam
you ask it for four hundred rupees i will lend you the money

epa eya genu lamayekne pirimi lamayek nam mata oka adu karala illanna thibuna lamayekuth wadegana awith mama kohomada ehema illanne

NO, that is a girl . i could have bargain it for that amount if that is a  boy who came to sell it  how can i do it and she is with a child?

the bus started to move from the bus depot the good hearted conductor left the bus i am not aware of to which direction he was moved to ?

i felt happy about this young man - the conductor i asked his name from the driver friend. he is  SUMITH that is what i got to know. and he too work for a bus 168 unfortunately i could not ask the bus number.

i am not going to analyze what i saw the way i want.

i like to keep some space for you my friends to think a while and see whether he is a good hearted gentleman or what ever way you can analyse this person Sumith

i am not going to put this little dialogue in to any Gender categorization no one needs special attention but the right attention this lady i do not think that she needed any special attention or their sympathy she had the gadget that could be sellable and she wanted to sell it for a reasonable prize for 500 rupees. The deal was not done. i don't know for what reason she was trying to sell the phone ( mobile) she might had a good reason. i am sure.

anyways i just like to pay my respect towards this young man by just writing a few sentences for you to read and for me as a  reminder.  i might meet him again.

i like to wish this boy luck.  He may or may not find a good phone that is not important here. his good thoughts full of mind.

wish you all a thoughtful days ahead!
